Il promeut \u00e9galement des m\u00e9thodes alternatives pour l'\u00e9valuation des dangers des substances afin de r\u00e9duire le nombre d'essais sur les animaux.<\/p><p>En principe, REACH s'applique \u00e0 toutes les substances chimiques, non seulement celles utilis\u00e9es dans les processus industriels, mais aussi dans notre vie quotidienne, par exemple dans les produits de nettoyage, les peintures et les articles tels que les v\u00eatements, les meubles et les appareils \u00e9lectriques. Le r\u00e8glement a donc un impact sur la plupart des entreprises de l'UE.<\/p><p>REACH fait peser la charge de la preuve sur les entreprises. Pour se conformer au r\u00e8glement, les entreprises doivent identifier et g\u00e9rer les risques li\u00e9s aux substances qu'elles fabriquent et commercialisent dans l'UE. Elles doivent d\u00e9montrer \u00e0 l'ECHA comment la substance peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et communiquer les mesures de gestion des risques aux utilisateurs.<\/p><p>Si les risques ne peuvent \u00eatre g\u00e9r\u00e9s, les autorit\u00e9s peuvent restreindre l'utilisation des substances de diff\u00e9rentes mani\u00e8res. \u00c0 long terme, les substances les plus dangereuses devraient \u00eatre remplac\u00e9es par des substances moins dangereuses.<\/p><p>REACH est l'acronyme de Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (enregistrement, \u00e9valuation, autorisation et restriction des substances chimiques). Les entreprises doivent enregistrer leurs substances et, pour ce faire, collaborer avec d'autres entreprises qui enregistrent la m\u00eame substance.<\/p><p>L'ECHA re\u00e7oit et \u00e9value chaque enregistrement pour en v\u00e9rifier la conformit\u00e9, et les \u00c9tats membres de l'UE \u00e9valuent des substances s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es afin de clarifier les pr\u00e9occupations initiales concernant la sant\u00e9 humaine ou l'environnement. Les autorit\u00e9s et les comit\u00e9s scientifiques de l'ECHA \u00e9valuent si les risques des substances peuvent \u00eatre g\u00e9r\u00e9s.<\/p><p>Les autorit\u00e9s peuvent interdire des substances dangereuses si les risques qu'elles pr\u00e9sentent sont ing\u00e9rables. Le principe fondamental de REACH est \"une substance, un enregistrement\".<\/p><p>Au cours du processus de soumission conjointe, l'un des membres parmi les fabricants des m\u00eames produits chimiques se d\u00e9signe comme d\u00e9clarant principal et le d\u00e9clarant principal ou le consortium REACH effectuera la plupart des t\u00e2ches telles que la collecte de donn\u00e9es, l'\u00e9laboration du dossier technique et du rapport sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 chimique (CSR), et la soumission du dossier d'enregistrement conjoint \u00e0 l'ECHA. Les autres cod\u00e9clarants doivent uniquement payer au d\u00e9clarant principal ou au consortium une redevance pour se r\u00e9f\u00e9rer au dossier d'enregistrement conjoint et pr\u00e9parer ensuite REACH Registration Dossier A registration dossier consists of two parts: Technical Dossier and Chemical Safety Report. 1) Technical Dossier Identity of manufacturer\/importer; Identity, volume and identi\ufb01ed uses of substance; Classi\ufb01cation and labelling; Study report and robust study summaries according to Annex VII to X (physiochemical, toxicological, eco-toxicological properties, ); Testing proposal; Statement whether tests have been carried out on vertebrate animals; 2) Chemical Safety Report (&gt; 10 ton per year) Human hazard assessment, physicochemical properties assessment, environmental hazard assessment and PBT\/vPvB assessment; Exposure Scenario is required if classi\ufb01ed as dangerous or PBT\/vPvB;\u00a0 operational conditions and risk management measures for each use; exposure estimation Do you want to know more about EU-REACH?
